That clip is actually done in the current 20 shines WR, with a banana and later in the run. It is faster later in the run because once you open Bianco, you spawn closer to that shine, so there's less movement.

There is no deadline. If you try hard enough and stay dedicated, you can get WR in almost anything. Optimized games will take more practice and patience, but you can definitely do it.

I'm pretty sure the current Wilko route doesn't require you to do any harder strats if you don't want to do them right off the bat. I think the only trick required would be Gelato skip. You can just follow the route to save the time while doing the shines and blue coins in whatever difficulty you'd like. Would it be possible for rejected runs to be hidden on the awaiting verification page after a certain amount of time? As of now for me they stack up on that page and stay there unless I delete the run, but the run only needs to stay until the person has seen the notification and knows it has been rejected and why. (Not sure if this is plausible but I thought I'd post it anyway)

I'm still getting notifications when a new run is awaiting verification in a game I moderate, even though I've unchecked the box and saved a few times to make sure.

Sorry, we don't allow emulation or USB loading due to loading time inconsistencies. :(

To add to what Msdalr said, Japanese is harder to start out on, but is well worth it in the long run. It is much faster for most other categories and it's a good idea to start early if possible. However, of course, if you can't get JP, the US version is adequate for the most part, especially in any%.

Yeah, that could be possible. I was responding to Lucario's question, where he asked about the top 5 versions, so I assumed he meant region-locked separate versions, not languages. I agree though, both Galaxies should be timed with languages soon so we can know for sure.

Well, there's only usually 3 versions of a game released. NTSC-U, NTSC-J, and PAL. So you can't really do a top 5. Also, they haven't been tested extensively because we're fairly sure NTSC-J is fastest. The text is faster, and the loading times shouldn't make it slower than other versions.

Yep. Pyroshade did as well, it's a pretty crazy category.

I think that it's better for an IL leaderboard to be long than to have over 10 extra misc categories that seem like they should be IL categories. It also seems much more organized.
