As a throwback to 2017 and a tribute to the Boomer team which would be participating in a big relay shortly after this stream, this run not only went back in time by doing a No Wondermail run with the old pair of Riolu/Cyndaqul, but went above and beyond by omitting lots of other strats that hadn't been thought of yet when I first picked up this speedgame! That meant selling all vitamins before Bristle, no dinner skip, no Esc Orb day after Waterfall (totally on purpose), unoptimal Sentry Duty #1, Item Master strats on Grovyle, and probably some other things. This run is all about the state of the game when I first entered the community. Even with all the little handicaps, I still managed to beat my old best Riolu/Cynda run though.
