Taking advantage of the tides and using a phonecall to propel the Vortex not only forward, but also left towards the ramp, saves one second over the former world record.

Getting this 16 seconds attempt took me just over 16 minutes. Most of that was exiting the course, waiting for the phone to ring and restarting the course again, to get the timing right on the tides, which is crucial for getting maximum forward distance before starting the timer.

Sorry for the abysmal quality, not sure why Streamlabs OBS decided to take a dump all over the game capture.

Changes to the GTA:SA leaderboard

The GTA:SA community has been deteriorating over a long period of time. Many top runners are not currently present on the leaderboard. This issue has not been seriously addressed yet, but an attempt will be made to remedy it now.
