This was my first run ever of this game, so it's bound to be a bit unpolished, but it's still a good start.

Techniques:

• Moving During Intro Text: When you skip all of the into text, after a moment you can actually move even when the screen is still black. So if you can navigate correctly, you can probably get all the way to the Ladder even before you can see anything. This should save at least a few seconds so it's worth going for.

Mistakes

• Dog Escort: So after chopping down the tree to cross the waters, I went straight to the Dog (I wasn't really planning for it, I just happened to go the wrong way). So I help him and while he walks on his own I go back towards the Shrine and chop down the last tree for 1 Jizo Statue. Then I head back to where the Dog original was stuck at, and place the Jizo Statue nearby. My mistake here was waiting for the Dog, when I should've just gone back to the Shrine and finished everything inside. Going to the Dog early has no point and you'll lose time if he isn't done, so it's best to do him last.
• Placing the final Jizo Statue: I forgot where it was, so I kind of stumbled around until I found it. Obviously wastes quite some time.
