New to speedrunning and after deliberation ive settled on CT. Leaning towards any%noLSS since jerrys vids are amazing, but maybe magus% is better for a noob?

Also since i plan to use emu i want to make sure im using the right stuff

Hi and welcome, first, I'm not in the runs of CT from years but Magus% cover most of the glitches and stuff that you will encounter in the entire run. In the past the strategy was different between Magus% and Any% NoLSS but now is the same. If you want you can learn until Magus and then in the future if you like the run continue to the end. I suggest to join the Discord server to talk with the runners.

For emulator. You can speedrun on the emulator but you need a specific emu and version (join discord to know it) Have fun
