I'm fairly sure you can actually skip the Hulao Gate archer lines, since I believe whoever is following me is triggering it. So just manipulate their movement as you wait. Jia Xu's second line is also preventable, I'll figure out how.

Bonus fact: The Battle of Liang Province has both an original and DLC version. Amazing!
