Yeah i think a video "should" be required, but if someone has proven themselves to be capable at the game. They did a good practice run offline and provides a picture, that would not be a too terrible thing to add. But i do think videos would make the leaderboard alot more pretty, inclusive and easy to get into (because you can see what people do).
This obviously requires that the person that requests said category doesnt just do 1 run and wants it on the leaderboard. There has to be some time-investment into the route/category for it do have any sort of legitemacy.
if someone is dedicated to route and run something, no-matter how meme or retarded looking. It will get added. Whether as a misc category or not is where the real discussion needs to happen. For me personally the ideal "max real categories" would be.

Everything else would be a misc category. But i doubt we would ever reject a category
i wouldn't mind just having pictures, but at the same time. Why would you not want to provide a video, isn't that part of the fun?
i think most of the other skips should be the same. ill see if i can find the old way to do it fast for you, so you can atleast pretend you are doing it correctly for the next day.

@kobepilgrim no matter joke or not, he has no reason to think he has the right to be mod of our community, especially now when he has blatantly alienated himself away from us, even when we were welcoming to begin with. We can discuss what a joke is until the end of time, he is obviously not capable to moderate a community he has no clue about. It is downright moronic. I do understand that you did not go for that side of the discussion, and rather focus on a very narrow part. It's just that whether it was a joke or not is absolutely irrelevant. He knows he is not wanted, he knows we want his mod-ship released, but he still wants to retain it. I call that nothing else than "power hungry". And quite selfish.
Edit: Is it relevant that he is a friend of yours Kobe? I can see that on your steam profile. Are you actually trying to protect your friend? You are being quite blatant about trying to protect someone who is being totally irrational and is making us more and more angry.
@Buffet_Time You have the entire aragami speedrunning community against you, and you still act like you are innocent, like this is "unfair". Do you really think that looks like a winning strategy, do you think this will go well? It's as if you think you can turn back time and make us think differently of you. We were nice to you at the start.

In the case of Aragami, neither of the options are good ones, the IGT the game has itself is rounded and we have reasons to believe it is quite variable and not that accurate. RTA is obviously a horrible idea for a PC game where loads can vary alot, not to mention some people might not even have an SSD or a fast computer. Making a load remover has yet to be proven a possibility because the game is made in UNITY, notoriously bad for making load-removers. So the clear option is picking between IGT and timing each load after the run is over. Both are terrible options, but they are in no means a "meme".
Just because Seren only posted a few screenshots does not mean that's all of them, would you believe there were more things that lead us to our conclusion? There is no reason (yet) to totally rip this guy to shreds on this forum. You can make a few jokes and we might get some of them, but if you continue with "jokes" while we quietly ask him to release his supermod. It's not really a joke anymore. He could have avoided this even if he was reasonable, we would have to give all the screenshots to a admin if he never releases his supermod however.
Again, we were perfectly nice to you at the beginning. Nothing was wrong, i got hostile when you started ignoring me. That's not "for no reason". You can call whatever you want a joke man, but when it happens in many games you don't run. You can make up whatever excuse you want to be mod for the games you are mod in. Problem here is that the way you behaved towards us in our discord alienated you from it, we kicked you for that reason. We do not need any more screenshots (unless a admin of sr.com wants them as evidence). We can keep this calm and tidy, just relinquish your supermod for the game you have no runs in. Repairing your standing with the Aragami Speedrunning community is far away, you should think about starting there.
There is absolutely no reason for a person who barely plays the game to have supermod in it, let alone you didnt route it, you didnt stream it, you werent helpful at the development at any point. Now that you got supermod, you suddenly think you have a say in how we do it. A supermod you did not earn and have no reason to think you earned. Thinking making Jan supermod releases you from your behavior is insane, obviously he should have supermod.
We do not need to make this into a big thing, drop your ego and your dreams about power hungry leaderboards, and release your supermod of the game. The admins of this site has more to worry about than something as minor as this.
i got aggressive towards you for a great reason, i expressly asked you why you should have a vote in how we time the run. You decided to meme around in the discord (as you call it, joke) and totally ignore me and my relevant questions about why you are a mod, and why you are trying to tell a PC speedrunning community how to time our runs. We have all the logs on the discord, i had great reason to get aggressive towards you, replying in this manner makes you look even more pathetic. We even have pictures of our conversation in Discord, where you expressly say (supposedly as a joke): "My favorite passtime is snagging leaderboards nowadays, ever since i got hm1 and hm2 mod, lmafo". Later to say it was a "joke". Dude shit like that is not a joke, just shows that you are a power hungry fool.

I request on behalf of the Aragami speedrun community to remove Buffet Time as a super-moderator, as he has not participated in routing or running the game since the release of the game and only propose rules that are opposed by the majority of our community.
