Hey there, this is a guide on how to speedrun eggwars duos season 2 and get the fastest time you possibly can.

So before knowing the strategies its important to note a few things.

1. Make sure you and your duo know how to speedbridge, here's a tutorial made by the spaghetti guy in case you dont know how to speedbridge:
2. Make sure your favorite items tab includes: -32 Concrete blocks -wooden sword
3. Make sure to play on the map "Cyber City" as it is the fastest map in eggwars duos.
4. Talk to your teammate on who will rush side (the teams to the side) or mid/front (the teams across mid), for the sake of the guide I will call the player that goes side "siderusher" and the player that goes across mid "midrusher".

Now, when you queue a game you will usually be in a corner team (a team that is NOT in the middle of two other teams), but you might occasionally spawn in a middle team (A team in between two teams), Im gonna go over the corner team strategy first as it is the most common spawn, and then I will go over the middle team spawn afterwards.

Normal strat (corner island)

Before game starts

1. First you're gonna vote for normal items, as it has the cheaper items while also having leather armor.
2. Then the both of you are gonna pick miner kit.

If you are the siderusher

3. Right after the game starts, you are gonna get 16 iron from the iron generator closest to the shop and buy 32 blocks, which you will then use to rush (get to and eliminate) your first team (yellow team if you're cyan).
4. After you eliminate your first team, you will get 24 iron from the iron generators closest to you and buy 32 blocks and a wooden sword, you will then use these items to rush your next team (pink team if you're cyan).
5. After you finish eliminating your second team, you will check if you have 7-15 blocks remaining, if you do, rush across mid with those blocks to eliminate the team across mid (green team if you're cyan), you should be trying to not waste blocks, and if you dont have 7-15 remaining blocks, then get 10 iron and buy 20 blocks to rush across mid and eliminate the team across mid (green team if your cyan).

If you and your duo have the same speed, the speedrun should end at the fifth step, but if you're teammate has a lower level skill than you, repeat step 3 until the game is finished.

If you are the midrusher

3. Right after the game starts, you are gonna get 10 iron from the iron generator furthest to the shop and buy 20 blocks, which you will then use to rush across mid and eliminate your first team (red team if you're cyan).

4. After eliminating your first team (or your first rush as it is commonly called), you will get a minimum of 16 iron from the enemy iron generators and buy 32 blocks, then you will rush (get to and eliminate) your next team with these blocks (orange if you're cyan). Note that you can also buy armor, although this will take up extra time of your run.

5. After eliminating your second team (orange if you're cyan), you will repeat step 4, (getting 16 iron, buying 32 blocks, and rushing your next team).

If you and your duo have the same speed, the speedrun should end at the fifth step, but if you're teammate has a lower level skill than you, repeat step 3 to get to rush your fourth team, then repeat step 4 to rush your fifth team and finish the game.

The other strat (middle team)

This is an alternate strategy made for when you spawn on orange or yellow team, which just so happen to be the middle teams.

Before game starts

1. First you're gonna vote for normal items, as it has the cheaper items while also having leather armor.
2. Then the both of you are gonna pick miner kit.

You both will do this

3. Right after the game starts, get 16 iron from any iron gen (each person takes 1 gen) and buy 32 blocks, then you will rush (get to and eliminate) the teams to the side (pink or cyan if you're yellow) separately.
4. After this, you will get 10-24 iron and buy 20 blocks if you only picked up 10 iron, 32 blocks if you only picked up 16 iron, and 32 blocks and wooden sword if you picked up 24 iron.
5. You will then use these blocks (and maybe sword) to rush across mid and eliminate your next team (might be green or red if you're yellow).
6. And finally, you will get 16 iron, buy 32 blocks, and rush your final team (orange team if you're yellow) finishing the run.
